My review

This came up on the reviewers list and I had to grab it. Having holidayed in many of the places where this book is set, I was all set for a resurgence of evocative memories.

However, this book was more than that.

It’s a quick and easy read, escapism at its best with a pleasant story along the way.
If you want a feel good story with predictable but reassuring plot the this is a great book to sit back and relax with. I loved the characters and fell in love with the choices they had made to take control of their lives. Perhaps on first glance it’s not all about being empowered, but under the surface is a very strong message about living the life you choose, to the best of your ability.
